KHAMAN DHOKLA


INTRODUCTION :-

The Signature Dish Of Gujarat , The famous Dhokla

Now You can make it at HOME and that Too in a Microwave , it's Very Easy and DELICIOUS


INGREDIENTS :-

For Batter
- Besan - 1 & 1/2 Cup
- Sooji ( Rava ) - little less than 1/4th Cup
- Lemon - 1
- Sugar - 1 TBSP
- Eno Powder - 1 Packet
- Salt to Taste

For Garnishing
- Oil - 2 TBSP
- Coriander - 2 TBSP
- Green Chilly - 2
- Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tea Spoon
- Sesame Seeds - 1 Tea Spoon
- Sugar - 2 TBSP
- Water - 1/4th Cup


PROCEDURE :-

For Dhokla

- Make a Batter. Take Besan and Sooji , add water mix it. Add Sugar, Salt and Lime Juice mix it.

- Grease a Microwave Safe Flat Vessel having a Lid with Oil

- Add Eno Powder in the Batter (after 15min rest), Mix it a little not much and then Immediately Pour the Batter in the Vessel Cover it with a Lid

- Cook it in the Microwave in Quick Mode or Re Heat Mode for 4 Minutes

- Check if it's done by Poking a Tooth Pick in it , if it's not ready Cook it for Another 30 Seconds

Whn Done Give it a Standing time of 2 Mins

Your Dhokla is Ready !!

For Garnishing

- In A Kadai , Take Oil add Mustard Seeds and Sesame Seeds

- Then add Green Chilly Water and Sugar

- Boil it for 2-3 Minutes

Your Garnish Mix Is Ready !!

Pour this Mixture on the Dhokla as Per Your Liking and Sprinkle Coriander !!

Your KHAMAN DHOKLA is Ready !!


KHUS KHUS HALWA


INTRODUCTION :-

Halwa made with poppy seeds is nutritious and also provides warmness and strength. Khus khus halwa is given to new mother so that it provides strength and improves the health as well. Do prepare khus khus halwa during winters. 
INGREDIENTS :-
  • Poppy seeds - ¾ cup (100 grams)
  • Sugar - ¾ cup (100 grams)
  • Milk - 1 cup (250 grams)
  • Desi ghee - 1/3 cup (70 grams)
  • Green cardamom - 4-5
  • Almonds - 5-6


PROCEDURE :-

Step 1.Clean poppy seeds and soak in water for 4-5 hours. Peel cardamom and make powder from it. Thinly slice almonds.
Step 2.Drain the excess water from poppy seeds. Finely grind poppy seeds in a mixture grinder. Add water or milk as per requirement.
Step 3. Add half the amount of ghee in pan and then add khus khus paste into it. Stir constantly and roast until color changes and nice aroma emits from it. Add more ghee if needed. Take out roasted khus khus in a separate bowl.
Step 4. Add sugar and milk in a pan and cook until it dissolves completely.
Step 5. Add roasted khus khus into it and cook until it gets thick consistency. Also add cardamom powder and mix well.
Step 6. Take out halwa in a serving plate and add rest of the ghee. Garnish with thinly sliced almonds.
Serve hot khus khus halwa and enjoy eating. It can be stored in refrigerator for 7 days. 


MASALA NAAN




INTRODUCTION :-

HEALTHY MASALA NAAN

INGREDIENTS :-

FOR DOUGH
1 bowl Maida and Wheat flour mix
1 tea spoon Sugar
1 tea spoon Lime juice
1 table spoon Curd
1 table spoon Oil
2 pinch Baking soda
1/2 tea spoon Salt

FOR MASALA
2 Table spoon Corriander
1/2 Teaspoon red chilly powder
1 Tea spoon dhaniya powder
1/2 tea spoon Ginger Garlic paste
Salt to taste
MIX ALL INGREDIENTS FOR MASALA

PROCEDURE :-
1. In a big bowl take maida and wheet flour.
2.Add all ingredients in it and make a smooth dough for naan.
3.Rest dough for two hours.
4.Roll it in oval shape.
5.sprinkle masala on naan.
6.Roll it little and prik it.
7.Bake naan at 180 degree C for
5 minutes
And your masala naan is ready to eat
You can make variations by sprinkling corriander or chilly flakes and oregano
Serve it with your fav curry


CRISPY VEG ROLL


INTRODUCTION :-
Healthy Version Of A Desi Samosa

INGREDIENTS :-

For Dough -
Maida - 2 cups
Baking Powder
Salt
Oregano
Oil - 1 Spoon
For Filling :-
Vegetable of your Choice, we have used - Peas, Sweet Corn, Potato, French Beans, Capsicum, Cabbage, Carrot, Coriander and Onion
Butter
Ginger Garlic Paste
Chilly Powder
Chaat Masala
Salt
Corn Flour Slurry ( 2 Spoon Corn Starch in 1/2 cup water)
Fresh Bread Crum

PROCEDURE :-

STEP 1 - Prepare a Soft Dough and rest it for 2 Hours
STEP 2 - Add 1 Spoon Butter on a Frying Pan , then Add 1/2 Spoon Ginger Garlic Paste and Onions. After 1 minute add rest of the Vegetables and 1/2 cup water, Cover it with a Lid and Cook it Properly.
STEP 3 - Add All the Spices,Masala, Coriander and mix it well till it's dry and there is no water. The filling is Ready
STEP 4 - Roll thin Roti and cut it in a Square shape add The Filling and roll it as shown in the Pic
STEP 5 - Dip the Roll in Corn Slurry and Coat with Bread Crum
STEP 6 - You can Deep Fry or Shallow Fry the Roll from all the sides
Your Crispy Veg Roll is ready !!
Serve it With Mint Chutney and Sauce.
TIP - You can Store the Rolls for 8 days in the Freezer.
